The Netherlands set up a strong performance to their 2010 World Cup campaign, with a two-nil win over Denmark sending them top of their group, while Japan claimed three points in their match against African heavyweights Cameroon.

Finally, the action in Group F got underway last night as Italy and Paraguay shared the points with the defending champions coming from behind to snatch a point.
